Pumpkinville Pumpkin Patch 2012 Details:

  • October 17-31
  • Mondays through Saturdays – 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.;  Sundays -- 1:30 to 5 p.m.
  • FREE admission and activities!  Pumpkins for sale with all proceeds benefitting McKinney Christian Academy!
  • Located just inside Tucker Hill's two entrances, 7270 West University Drive, McKinney, TX  75071; 214-544-7550
  • Phase 2 Coming Soon!  Visit our model homes between October 17, 2012, and January 14, 2013 & register to win a “Get-Away Give-Away”  -- $1,000 towards American Airlines tickets

Please note:  This event replaces the former "Ghouls on the Lawn" event.  There will be no trick-or-treating activity included in this year's activities.

Daily Features:

  • Pumpkin patch nestled in a scenic, grassy field with a huge variety available for purchase
  • Static display of vintage farm equipment from the Collin County Farm Museum
  • Toddler-sized hay maze
  • Tractor-pulled hay ride (Friday & Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Sundays, 1:30 to 4 p.m.)
  • Pumpkin decorating for children and adults
  • “Pumpkin” Croquet
  • Badminton Court
  • Bocce Ball
  • Fall-Inspired & Halloween Decor throughout neighborhood
  • Photo vignettes
  • Picnicking in our Pumpkinville designated areas 
  • Help 3e McKinney “Scare Away Hunger” and fill the shelves at the McKinney Food Pantry!  Bring your canned fruits or vegetables to our collection site!

Every Weekend:

  • “All Things Pumpkin” Bake Sale, sponsored by Baker Elementary PTO
  • FREE Tractor-pulled hay ride (Friday & Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Sundays, 1:30 to 4 p.m.)
  • Professional Photographs taken by Aimee Louise Photography (Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m.; Sundays:  1:30 to 5 p.m.)Session fees will start at $35 and packages at $50 with 100% of session fees being donated to MCA and 10% of MCA family packages being donated as well.  Click here for more information!

Saturday, October 20:

  • KLAK 97.5 Live Remote & Giveaways, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • “Horticulture Talks” led by Tucker Hill's "Flower Lady" – 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.; Just ride the hay ride and listen to the Flower Lady talk about Tucker Hill's flowers and landscaping.  Don't miss the old-fashioned lemonade stand hosted by Girl Scout Troop #7227!
  • Chef Elma DeHoyos cooking demonstration and tasting samples of Streusal Topped Pumpkin Muffins and
    Pumpkin colored Chocolate Covered Strawberries  -- Noon to 2 p.m., David Weekley Model, 7400 Ardmore Street.
  • Resident "Pumpkin Pie Bake-Off" – 2:30 to 3 p.m.

  • “Concert on the Lawn” --  noon to 1:30 p.m. featuring the E-Flat Porch Band.  Bring a blanket or lawn chair and stake out your spot under the trees along Grassmere Street to enjoy the live music from one of our resident porches!
  • Gourmet Food Truck with Chicago-Style Cuisine -- "Taste of Home" -- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  (Follow them on Facebook at TasteofHome7!)
  • Pumpkin Carving Demonstrations led by Matthew McIntosh of Hand Touched Designs–  11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Interactive Dance Performances featuring the dancers and staff from McKinney's Dancer Strong Academy -- 1 to 3 p.m.

Sunday, October 28:

  • Pumpkinville Sneak Peek -- wear your Halloween costume and get a special treat!
  • Face Art by Judy -- 1:30 to 5 p.m.
  • Ghost Stories and More – 2 to 4 p.m.
